Oh, Ocean. You model so beautifully how to hold many truths at once. Sending you hugs as you grieve your sweet pup - our animals are so much a part of our lives than we realize until they are gone.
I think about "aliveness" often these days and am so excited about new and boundry-pushing projects I'm planning for 2026. I've found that my passion is the intersection of teaching and connection in my world of health, wellness, and nutrition and will be experimenting with different ways to spread this passion: 1) My community radio show!, 2) More Speaking Series, expanded to include cooking demos, book clubs, and interdisciplinary conversations, 3) No-recipe receipes and meal planning approaches.
Wow, I love knowing that you’re planning these exciting projects. Yay to discovering the sweet convergence in your passions, and taking action to realise them!
I’m curious what about the “boundary-pushing” aspect of these projects. Is that a personal boundary, cultural, or something else?
Also I’m going to be in SF for the month of March, so if you’re planning any events down that way, let me know 😍
I’ll have to plan an event just for you! Would love to see you when you are in the area 💕
My boundary pushing is all about taking my imposter syndrome on head on. Listening to my own voice on the radio? So uncomfortable for me but I’m feeling more confident each time I do it. Teaching people how to cook? I am no chef and have this fear that what I think tastes good isn’t going to be received well.
I’m learning to trust that what I have to offer is enough. And even if it isn’t, it gives me something to learn and grow from.
What’s alive for me is specialization. Hearing your deepening into movement and massage lands in me as a kind of excited competition. I want to expand my relational and energetic capacities to learn to flow with mine and others’ experiences with more care, subtlety, and nuance.
My learning is becoming synonymous with serving, and serving is learning to more effectively give and receive gifts (of presence/focus/attunement). The more I see, the more I can allow, and the more I allow, the more I feel my being is in flow with the joy and freedom inherent in each moment.
I welcome being in an excited competition with you… I’m holding it as a shared togetherness in moving toward our unique potentials.
What a beautiful sequence of unfolding: giving and receiving turning into more joy and freedom. To me, attunement is one of the greatest gift we can give another human and ourselves, and I like knowing your spreading this gift.
I’m also appreciating the explicitness in “specialisation” as what’s alive for you, because I’m seeing you turning toward this in our interactions recently and it’s delightful. Yay.
Hey Ocean! I am also moving to expand in my life through intentional connection and reaching out as well. I recently paused it after starting in October and got back into it today. It's simultaneously exciting and embarrassment-inducing. What a time to be alive. Loved your wiggling workshop just now :)

Yay!! Let make it happen. I think I have your WhatsApp from the retreat? If not I’ll grab it from Lyle 🥰
I’m really receiving and celebrating the self-imposed boundaries that you’re moving through. These feel big and important to be present to.
Grief and Boundlessness, hand in hand.
